Another song I wrote a few years ago, but have only recorded recently. Also featuring Kath Bloom and Neal Casal.

Verse 1:

Pack my suitcase and fill my trunk. I'm headed for the city and I'm lookin' for love.
Been so many places seems they're all the same, scanned so many faces on that sub-way train.

Oh I'm leavin' for Manhattan

Verse 2:

Approach the city, the lights in view. Gas tank empty on the free-way, calling for you.

Chorus :

I've come so far, I've drove so far.

I get so overwhelmed X 3

Verse 3:

This place is nowhere, feels like a draw, but I don't seem to mind it really all that much.

Oh Manhattan
I'm leavin'
For Manhattan
Ahh Ahh Ahh
Ahh Ahh Ahh
